About the Blue Doors Society
Behind the Blue Doors is a one-hour behind the scenes look at the in-depth work Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley provides to the young people we serve. On the tour, you’ll discover how Clubs are addressing mental and emotional health challenges, providing unique opportunities, closing the academic gap with targeted programs and developing meaningful relationships with Club members and their families. As guests complete the tour, they are encouraged to become an Ambassador and bring those in their network to see ‘Behind the Blue Doors’.
As we introduce the Clubs to the community, we provide opportunities for engagement and support. Through their gift, donors join the Blue Doors Society with a multiple year pledge that will provide long term sustainable funding. Funding from the Blue Doors Society allows Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley to provide high quality programming which includes well-trained, passionate Club staff, outcome driven programs that impact academic success for members and experiences for member to prepare them to leave high school with a plan for the future.
Giving Levels
Opening Doors provides after school tutoring for a child for the next 5 years. $1,000 a year for 5 years or $83.33 per month.
Creating Safe Spaces provides a scholarship for 1 child for 5 years. $3,000 a year for 5 years or $250.00 per month.
Developing Relationships provides life skills workshops for 5 children for 5 years. $5,000 a year for 5 years or $416.66 per month.
Providing Opportunities gives us the ability to hire more tutors to help Club kids reach academic success. $10,000 a year for 5 years or $833.33 per month.
Impacting Communities provides support to hire more part time staff for youth throughout our area. $20,000 a year for 5 years or $1,666.57 per month.
