Why Boys & Girls Clubs?: To allow children to gain a sense of belonging and provide a safe place to go after school and during breaks. Not only do we get to connect with the kids on a daily basis, but we’re able to connect with their parents/guardians and it gives them assurance knowing their child is being taken care of and given an opportunity to succeed. With children it takes a “village” and if we are a small piece of that, it’s worth it all!

Why Boys & Girls Club: I am passionate about loving and serving the next generation. My deepest desire is for them to see their God-given potential and purpose that they were created for. I believe that by partnering with families and community partners, we can create a safe place for this generation to grow, learn, and reach their potential. By nurturing their talents, instilling values, and fostering a supportive environment, I have the opportunity to merge my dedication to youth development with my faith-driven calling to make a positive impact on the lives of both the children and families we serve. Why Boys & Girls Clubs: I chose the Boys & Girls Clubs because I was a Club kid myself. This is the community I was raised in, my daughters have grown up in, and one in which I see amazing potential. Being able to surround myself daily with hundreds of kids I have the opportunity to mentor, influence, and guide in a positive way is a blessing and a responsibility that I could not be happier having or taking more seriously. Every year I inform all of our Club parents that I’m here to help every kid I can be the best version of themselves that they can be.

Why Boys & Girls Clubs?: The main thing I am passionate about are the members that we serve. My goal each day is to change lives. It is rewarding to see when members graduate from high school and go on to college or get employment. The icing on the cake is when they come back and say “Thanks for your help.” At first this was just a job, but now this is who I am and this is what I do.
