The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley (BGCTNV)

counts on volunteers to meet the mission of the organization. BGCTNV offers a variety of possibilities for individuals, groups, and families to contribute to the mission and help youth in our community succeed.

Youth, Family, and Group Volunteers

Youth Volunteers – Ages 13-18

BGCTNV allows youth volunteers age 13-18. Applicants must fill out the online volunteer application and have a parent/guardian sign a Youth Volunteer Parental Consent Form. This form must be brought to the volunteer orientation or emailed here. Please note, background checks are not conducted on youth volunteers.

Family Volunteers

BGCTNV offers a number of opportunities for families to volunteer. Activities range from event set up and clean up, gardening, and special event duties. Families with children over the age of 6 are welcome to apply. Only one parent/guardian has to fill out the online application, and must indicate participating family members names and ages.

Group Volunteers

BGCTNV can accommodate group volunteer activities, such as club beautification or in alignment with college course work. All volunteers must fill out the Online Volunteer Application indicating group/organization affiliation. Orientations can be scheduled to meet the groups needs. Please email inquiries here. These types of volunteer opportunities must be scheduled four weeks in advance.
