Loudon County Club – Youth of the Month – February

D’Anya

We first met D’Anya last year as the featured Club Member in our February 2019 newsletter. She is now eight years-old and is still enjoying her time at Boys & Girls Club of Loudon County. Last year she mentioned how much she enjoyed Power Hour, which allowed her time to focus on her homework. Since she has eight brothers at home, it was often difficult to find quiet time at home to dedicate to her studies. Let’s see what D’Anya has been up to over the past year…

“I’m doing much better in math this year! I really appreciate the time that the staff dedicates to sitting down with me one-on-one to help me with my math homework. It’s made a huge difference! I’m also starting to think about what I want to be when I grow up and right now, I think I would like to be a police officer, so that I can keep people safe.”
