Fort Craig Club – Youth of the Month – January

“The Club makes me feel really safe,” says 9 year-old Savannah, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Fort Craig Club. “It’s nice to be with people who make me feel safe, like the staff at the Club and my friends who also go to the Club. It’s also nice to attend my virtual school at the Club because the staff are there to help me if I have any questions.

I have a lot of pets, including a dog, a cat, two guinea pigs, and a squirrel. We just found a baby squirrel a few weeks ago and we’re nursing it back to health. He likes to eat nuts and fruit and hopefully he’ll be strong and old enough pretty soon so we can let him go back to the wild.”
