Meet Kamani

“I love the Club during the summer!” exclaims 8 year-old Kamani, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – North Ridge Crossing Club. “We do so many fun things, like going on lots of field trips! This summer we went to Zoo Knoxville and went swimming. I’m not so great at swimming, so the staff are helping me to learn how to swim – which is a pretty important thing to know how to do.

When I’m not hanging out with my friends at field trips, we hang out at the Club. There’s always lots of fun things to do, like playing in the gym and doing activities, like arts and crafts. I really like to do finger painting.”
