Meet Laken

“I make friends all day long!” exclaims 8 year-old Laken, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Fort Craig Club. “The Club is the best place to make friends because it’s a safe, friendly place to be after school and during the summer and everyone wants to have fun.

There are so many cool things about the Club like homework help, arts and crafts, and gym. I’d have to say my favorite thing to do is to play outside with my friends in the big field. We love playing Red Rover! The staff teaches us that it’s important to not only eat healthy food, but to also get some type of exercise every day, which is why they let us play outside!”
