Meet Max

“I really like that the Club allows us to have fun and play with our friends,” says 9 year-old Max, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – DeBusk Family Club. “I think my favorite thing to do with my friends at the Club is to play Four Square. We’re all really good at that game and we have a pretty serious competition going on!

When I grow up I would like to be a Game Programmer. Of course, I know I’ll need to go to college to learn how to do all the programming, but I know I can do it. The staff at the Club tell me I’m smart and when I have some hard homework, they always help me with it and that improves my grades – so I know that I’ll be able to get into college.”
