Meet Aleah

“I love my Club,” says 10 year-old Aleah, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Vestal Club. “All the staff are nice, but Miss Korrie really has helped me this year by taking the time to talk to me. Sometimes if someone is mean to me, I get mad and then I go see Miss Korrie. She helps me to calm down and feel better.

Mr. Allen is really great too! He teaches us all sorts of really cool things about art. My favorite thing to do in my art classes is to create collages. I find it super fun working to combine lots of different things into my collage, so that it looks good. Art just speaks to me!”
