Markman's Open the Vault Event

On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, Steve Markman presented a check for $2,750 to Bridget Jones, Director of Development & Corporate Events for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley. The check was presented as a result of the recent Open the Vault Event Fundraiser held at Markman’s, located at 6932 Kingston Pike.

The Open the Vault Event Fundraiser was held Thursday, September 10th through Saturday, September 12th, where Markman’s offered jewelry from its vault to customers at 20% to 70% off. Safe social distance protocols were observed during the annual fundraiser. A portion of the proceeds was then donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley.

“We are extremely happy to make a donation to such a deserving organization like Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley for the third year in a row,” said Steve Markman. “Markman’s has had a long tradition of giving back to the community, and we wanted our Open the Vault Event to be a continuation of that spirit of charity.”

Markman’s flagship location is at 6932 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, with a second location outside Hamilton Place in Chattanooga. For more information, please contact Shawn Steadman, 865-693-8803, extension 1002.
