Meet Ryker

We first met 10-year-old Ryker, a member of Boys & Girls Club of Loudon County, in October of 2022. Back then, he discussed how the Club taught him to be respectful to others, by listening to them and always being kind. He talked about how many friends he’s made at the Club by being a good person. Watching Ryker interact with everyone at the Club, it’s clear that he is still loving the Club and is a good friend to everyone.

“I live on a big farm, so I don’t have too many close neighbors. So I really like coming to the Club to hang out with my friends. But I also love my farm. I have chickens, horses, pigs, dogs, goats, guinea pigs, cats, and a hamster. It’s a lot of work taking care of all the animals, but I think it’s taught me to be a really responsible person,” says Ryker.
