Meet Isaiah

“Everyone is so friendly at the Club,” says 14-year-old Isaiah, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Regal Teen Center. “It’s a really good, positive environment to be in. We all get along and everyone is nice to each other, which can usually be hard to do when you have a bunch of teenagers. The staff are super nice and encourage us all to do our best and be kind.

I really like that I have dedicated time at the Club to do my homework. The staff also take the time to sit with me and help me with it if I’m having any problems. Algebra is my hardest subject in school and I think it’s great that I get that one-on-one instruction with a tutor at the Club. It’s helped me improve my grades!”
