“It’s really nice to come to the Club every day,” says 11 year-old Lauren, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Fort Craig Club. “The best part about the Club is hanging out in The Vault with my friends. It’s a special place in the Club that’s just for the older kids, so it’s nice to have that dedicated space just for us.
It’s also a great place to find a quiet spot to do homework. There’s always a staff member in there who is super helpful when I get stuck on some homework. Last week I was struggling with my math homework, and I got one-on-one help which allowed me to understand more about how to round decimals.”
