“The Club is my favorite place to be because I get to hang out with my friends,” says 12 year-old Gavin, a member of Boys & Girls Club of Blount County. “We love playing kickball and making really cool things with Legos.
One time, we had someone from Tremont come in and teach us about bugs. We learned about the different types of bugs, what their purpose is in the wild, and how to spot dangerous ones. It was very interesting and I now go out and look for bugs when I go for walks in the woods.”
