Meet Morgan

“I just moved to Maryville this year from Lake City,” says 13 year-old Morgan, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Fort Craig Club. “I’m really glad that I joined the Club right when I moved here, because it has really helped me settle in and make some new friends.

Moving can be really hard, so it was nice to almost instantly make friends at the Club. It’s also been great getting help with my homework. I find Language Arts a little hard, so the staff help me with reading and understanding passages in books. The transition from my old school to my new school was hard, but the one-on-one homework help has been super nice and has helped me get up to speed.”
