Meet Jace

“The Club has taught me so much!” exclaims 10 year-old Jace, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Fort Craig Club. “I’ve learned important things in life, like making sure that I’m always kind to others and that I always tell the truth. I also get tutoring, so that has helped to improve my grades. But my favorite thing at the Club is taking cooking lessons!”

One time we had some amazing chefs come in and they taught us how to make Ramen and we served some bread with fruit on the side and had a sponge cake for dessert. The Ramen was really delicious, it had mushrooms, green, yellow, and red bell peppers, and onions in it. They showed us how easy it was to make, so now I actually make that meal at my house and everyone loves it!”
