Clinton Elementary Club – Youth of the Month – February

“The staff at the Club have really helped me a lot,” says 8 year-old Shaun, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Clinton Elementary Club. “I get scared sometimes, but they’ve worked with me to teach me how to breathe and calm down – it really works and makes me feel much better.

I also get lots of help with my homework at the Club. If I’m working on something like a math problem and get stuck, the staff is right there to jump in and explain it to me. It’s nice to have the one-on-one help with my school work.”
