Meet Evan

“The Club is like a brotherhood,” explains 12 year-old Evan, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Clinton Elementary Club. “Everyone at the Club is so incredibly nice, like super sweet to each other. I’m always comfortable when I come to the Club, because I know I’ll be safe.

When I grow up, I think I would like to be a Sports Announcer. I love sports and it’s really fun to watch a game and hear the person talking about the game – sometimes they get really excited about the plays. To me, that would be my dream job and I practice doing it at the Club. I’ll watch kids play and then I’ll announce who has the ball, and how the play ends. It’s fun!”
