Meet Houston

“Hanging out with my friends in the gym at the Club is the best,” explains 5-year-old Houston, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Clinton Community Center Club. “We always have a lot of fun playing basketball. I get to run around in circles and get my energy out, so that makes it super fun!

Everyone here at the Club is so nice. The staff teach us to make sure that we’re good people, by talking nice to each other, keeping our hands to ourselves, sharing toys and stuff, and just being nice people. I’ve made a lot of friends in the Club that I met over the summer and it was nice, because they’re now in my Kindergarten class, so it was good to have friends in my new class.”
