Meet JJ

“Arts and crafts at the Club is the very best!” exclaims 5-year-old JJ, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Anderson County – Clinton Community Center Club. “My favorite thing we ever made in arts and crafts was a spider. I dipped each of my hands in paint and used four fingers on each hand to press on the paper to make the legs. You know – four plus four equals eight and a spider has eight legs, so that’s why I did that!
Mr. Matt is the best! He always has a smile on his face, and he listens to me and answers all my questions – and I have a lot of questions! It’s nice to see him every day at the Club.”

When JJ was asked what he would wish for if he was granted one wish for the world during the holiday season, he didn’t take long at all to answer. “I wish for everyone in the world to be safe and be nice to each other and for every animal to be safe too.”
