Meet Natalie

“Arts and crafts time at the Club is so much fun,” explains 9 year-old Natalie, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Claiborne County. “I think my favorite arts and crafts project ever was making a dog out of clay. We were given a big ball of clay, and then we had to sculpt something out of it. I decided to make a dog, because I love dogs. It came out really nice and I’m super proud of it!

The staff at the Club teach us the rules, so that we can all be safe and feel happy when we’re there. The biggest rule of the Club is to always be nice. Speak nicely to people and that’s how you make friends. I just always feel really safe and happy when I’m at the Club with my friends.”
