Meet Riley

“I’m very proud to be the Youth of the Month,” explains 13 year-old Riley, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Loudon County Club. “The staff nominated me for this honor because I always try to do my best. When I see something that needs to be done, I just jump in and help. The other day I helped to clean up the Teen room after we had a party because it was the right thing to do.

I really enjoy the time I get at the Club to just be creative. My favorite thing to do is to draw, it’s really fun to use my imagination to create things. The staff always encourage me to draw and they tell me I’m very good at it. I use art to help me process how I’m feeling at the time and it helps me.”
