Meet Ju’Kiah

“Miss Erin is the best person in the world,” says 7 year-old Ju’Kiah, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Fort Craig Club. “I really like that every day at the Club we have time that we can do our homework and that Miss Erin is right there to help if I have questions.

Math can be hard for me – so Miss Erin sits with me and explains to me how to do addition and subtraction. My friends seem to understand math more than me, so I get a little upset, but after sitting down with Miss Erin and going over each step super slow, it makes sense and I feel better about myself.”
