At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, we are always looking for meaningful ways to support our youth and their families. Recently, the Vestal Club launched an incredible new initiative that is doing just that: the Vestal Club Market.
A Weekly Store-Styled Pantry The Vestal Club Market is a weekly, store-style pantry open to all of our members and their families. Thanks to a generous partnership with Second Harvest and the American Heart Association, we are able to keep the market fully stocked with healthy, nutritious foods. Families can “shop” for essential groceries, including:

Fresh fruits and vegetables

Eggs, cheese, and butter

Proteins like chicken and ham

Pasta and much more!
Youth Leadership in Action While providing nutritious food to our community is the main goal, the absolute best part of the market is seeing our older Club members step up to help. These young leaders take ownership of the market by guiding parents through the available items, helping them fill their bags, and carrying heavy groceries out to their cars. It is a beautiful display of teamwork, community service, and responsibility.
Staff Support & Success To make the experience as seamless as possible, our dedicated staff went the extra mile by creating a custom menu to help families easily select the items they want.
The Vestal Club Market has seen a fantastic turnout week after week. Our members and their families have expressed how much they appreciate the market and want to continue coming. We are so excited to keep this wonderful initiative going strong and to continue serving our amazing community!
