At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, we believe in using our voice to create a better future for kids and teens. That’s why we’re honored to receive the Champion of Youth award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America! This recognition highlights our committed and innovative advocacy efforts for youth across Anderson, Blount, Claiborne, Knox, and Loudon Counties.
Advocacy in Action
Our grassroots advocates have been working hard to make a real impact—raising awareness, building connections, and ensuring that the needs of young people remain a top priority in our community. But we’re just getting started! With your help, we can continue to grow this movement and make an even bigger difference.
One way to get involved is by joining our Catalyst for Change Advocacy Network. This network is made up of passionate individuals who take action on key issues affecting youth. By signing up, you’ll receive updates on important advocacy efforts and simple ways to make your voice heard.
A National Honor
Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Club Advocacy Engagement Recognition Program celebrates the work that local Clubs do every day to champion youth-related issues. Clubs are placed into three tiers based on their advocacy impact:
- Advocate (first 50% of Clubs)
- Hero (next 40% of Clubs)
- Champion (top 10% of Clubs)
We are incredibly proud to be in the Champion tier, recognizing the top 10% of Clubs nationwide for advocacy impact, creativity, and innovation.
