Meet Ian

“I love playing with my friends at the Club,” says 10-year-old Ian, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Claiborne County. “We like to play games in the gym and do word searches! I have lots of friends at the Club, because the staff teach us to be kind to each other and use positive words when speaking to everyone.

At home, I have a dog, three cats, and 4 chickens! I’m in charge of collecting the eggs and boy, do we have a lot of eggs – too many, I’d say! I feed the chickens every day and when it’s sunny and warm, I let them out in my yard. They are very good chickens and they never run away – they like to hang out in my yard. When I tell them it’s time to go back in their coop, they listen to me and march right in.”
