Meet Addie

“Arts and crafts time at the Club is my favorite,” explains 11-year-old Addie, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Claiborne County. “I really love to draw and paint and our arts & crafts room has lots of art supplies. Watercolor painting is really fun, but it can be messy. We also do other things in arts & crafts, like Origami. It’s fun to create little animals out of paper.

When I grow up I would like to be a hairstylist and a nail tech. I love to experiment with different things with my hair and nails and I think this career would allow me to be super creative. People feel better about themselves when they have a nice haircut and pretty nails.”
