Meet Camden

“I love to read,” says 10-year-old Camden, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Blount County. “It’s so nice to go to the Club, grab a book, find a quiet spot to just read and chill. Reading is one of my favorite things to do. Right now I’m reading Avatar: The Last Airbender series. It’s such a great bunch of books and of course, I also love the movie!

Mr. Jadin is such an awesome person – he’s the coolest staff member at the Club. We have similar interests, like puzzles. He’s a good person to talk to and he really listens to me and I know he cares about me. I feel safe at the Club because everyone is really nice and the staff always teach us to be respectful to each other.”
