Meet Jasmine

“Playing in the gym with my friends is so much fun,” explains 6 year-old Jasmine, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Claiborne County. “We love to play tag in the gym! I’m super fast at running, like even faster than my dog!

It’s nice going to the Club right after school, because they help me with my homework, and I like getting the help. Right now, I think math is pretty hard, because we’re learning about addition and subtraction. Some of it is confusing, but when I get to the Club, someone always takes the time to sit down with me and talk me through my math problems really slowly, so that it makes senses to me.”
