Meet Tyler

“I’ve been attending the Club for the past seven years,” explains 13 year-old Tyler, a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley – Loudon County Club. “That’s more than half my life! The Club has been such a great part of my life – I love it here! The staff are so helpful to me, especially when it comes to Power Hour, where they sit with me and go over my homework with me. Right now I’m studying fractions in math, and I really appreciate the time at the Club to get help with my homework.

While I love all of the staff members, I’d have to say that Mr. Jayden is extra special. He’s almost like family, like a brother. He always takes the time to listen to me and I know that I can talk to him about anything. It’s really nice to know that I have someone who is always there for me.”
