Rules:

  1. A mandatory pre-tourney meeting for all anglers will be held at 6:30 am at the Tellico Canal Ramp. Boats are required to be at the ramp for a live well check by 6:30 am. Tournament fishing hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All contestants must be in the weigh-in line by 4:30 pm.
  2. You may enter alone or with partners (2) of choice in tournament. Third person must be below 16 years of age, not to exceed Coast Guard posted limit for vessel.
  3. Tournament waters shall be defined as areas open to all participants during the event and accessible by normal navigational means. Tournament waters consist of Tellico, Fort Loudoun, and Watts Bar Lakes. Trailering of boat is permitted. There will not be a blast off.
  4. Fishermen must remain in boat while fishing. Teams may use rod and reel combos or hand-held poles. No more than eight (8) rods may be used at any given time. Live and artificial bait may be used.
  5. Teams without boats are not allowed to enter and fish. No fishing from shore, docks, piers, or marina slips will be permitted.
  6. A team can weigh-in only seven (7) crappie (by weight). Crappie must be weighed at the official weigh-in site. All crappie brought to the scales for weigh-in must have been caught during the tournament hours, from tournament waters, by the team bringing them to the scales. All crappie presented for weigh-in must be alive and meet 10” size limit and may not have any weight enhancements. Any team presenting an illegal crappie to be weighed as part of their catch will be penalized one (1) pound per violation. Any violation of state boating or wildlife regulations may be grounds for disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.
  7. Participants agree to submit to a Polygraph Exam upon request.
  8. NO ONE can be hired or compensated in any way to fish with you or for you at the tournament sites.
  9. In the event of a tie, tournament officials will conduct a drawing to determine the winners.
  10. Life jacket must be worn when the big engine is running.
