Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley was one of 52 organizations across the country to receive the grant for $4720.00.
“The USA Swimming Foundation appreciates all that you are doing in your community to promote water safety and the importance of learning to swim. We believe that your program will make an impact in your community and will save lives,” said US Swimming Foundation Make a Splash Program Coordinator Shweta Shreyarthi.
Within this quality, multi-level learn-to-swim program, the lessons will expand opportunities for at-risk students to learn to swim and to use the sport of swimming to expand fitness and recreational opportunities. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley will offer this program to 80 Club members at two of its Clubs.
We are so exited to receive this grant to help make our kids safe in the water. Thank you USA Swimming Foundation!
